Stress spot

Many people wonder why their hair brakes off at the crown of their head constantly.  Well, my friend, if you have the same question, I have the answer.  Your crown is the most sensitive area on your head.  Even as a baby, people called it the "soft spot".  And it really is.  For those that don't handle stress very well, you will notice after a period of time, that area will begin to get thinner and thinner.  As a matter of fact, for men who eventually shave all of their hair off and consider it the "new fad", for many is not the reality.  They have been experiencing balding.  I would rather that you cut it all off than leave all the hair around the sides for even comb the long side piece over as to hide it.  WE STILL SEE IT!

I think it's a beautiful thing to see women going back natural. However, many have made this decision because of  hair thinning or damage caused by long periods of chemical treatments, braids and/or extensions.  I do have a problem seeing some women with their natural hair looking a mess.  Come on ladies, YouTube a video if you have a challenge being creative, but don't go out of the house looking a hot mess. I'm just saying....

Look Who's Back

Hey,  It's been a long pause. Too long I must say, but I was motivated by my mentor to refocus on my passion.  Since I dropped the ball on this blog. I am picking it back up by sharing a conversation I had with a lady who told me she would never color her hair again because it "fell out". My response was, "I've been coloring my hair for over 25 years and as my own hair designer I use pre-lighter/"bleach" straight up and never had a problem."

THE QUESTION!  So why is it that some women have severe hair loss and others don't?

THE ANSWERS! 1. The stylist may not have properly assessed the strength of the client's hair to see if it was able to withstand the process.
2.The stylist may not have giving the client the proper hair care maintenance following the process.
3. The stylist may have done the color too soon before or after a relaxer/perm.

I've done it with no problems whatsoever and here's the proof.

Wow!
