There's no Hair Glory in this story!
Recently I've been coming across women with natural locks styled in beautiful updo's. There is so much fullness in the ends and the designs are Fabulous..The problem is, when you look at the roots, their hair is so much thinner. Even moreso, the hair is really pulled tight.
What happening is their Beautician, I'll call them Bootician, is so focused on the neatness and the tightness of the roots being twisted that they are loosing sight of the stress on the hair due to the length and weight of the hair strands. This is why lock touch-ups shouldn't be done every week but at least every two weeks to reduce the stress on the roots. If not, thinning of the hair roots and balding begins to take place.
Women should be responsible for their own hair and take Hair matters into their own hands by at least saying something to their Bootician regarding the thinning.
Just a thought from the Hair Dr.
